Hi, I'm Elodie
Born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium, with one big dream: to travel the world. Solo traveling through Southeast Asia opened my eyes to a whole new way of exploring, one rooted in authenticity, connection, and cultural exchange. Travel, for me, isn’t just about the places you see, but the people you meet and the moments that truly move you.
That’s exactly what I want to share with you. Dahab is one of those rare places where you can still feel this genuine spirit, a unique blend of nature, simplicity, and community. I’ve fallen in love with the sea here: snorkeling, scuba diving, and freediving are my favorite ways to connect with the underwater world. The local Bedouin people have become dear friends, making me feel at home.
After my first job in the corporate world, I realized I craved more freedom. To live life on my own terms, to move where my heart leads me, and to pour my energy into what I truly love: travel. I like to call myself a free bird, chasing experiences that make me feel alive. Dahab is just the beginning, so come along and follow my journey.

Our Mission
At Villa Irène, our mission is to create a peaceful home where people can unwind, explore, and reconnect with nature, with others, and with themselves. We believe travel can be meaningful when it supports local communities and encourages genuine exchange. That’s why we choose to collaborate with Bedouin families, local artisans, and international instructors who share values of respect, authenticity, and care for the environment.
Our Vision
Our vision is to inspire a slower, more conscious way of traveling. One that values depth over distance and people over places. We hope Villa Irène becomes more than just a place to stay, a space that brings peace, inspiration, and genuine human connection.
